Family Pediatric Care wasn’t created in a boardroom.
It was born because of my son, Wade; our family’s experience with a disabled child, and the nurses who have loved us for the last 19 years.
As the mother of a medically complex child, I’ve spent years welcoming pediatric home health nurses into our home. Those nurses became part of our family. They celebrated our victories, sat beside us during difficult days, and helped my son receive the care he needed while remaining where he belonged: at home.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I wanted to build the kind of agency I always wished existed. One that takes care of families, takes care of children, and takes care of nurses. Because when nurses feel supported, children receive better care.
What Guides Us:
We believe every child should be cared for with compassion.
We believe families should feel supported and heard.
We believe nurses should have leadership that understands bedside care.
That’s the Family Pediatric Care difference.
